FlyPelican Cadetship Announced in Partnership with Inbound Aviation

FlyPelican Airlines & Inbound Aviation are excited to announce that an agreement to commence a new pilot cadetship program, has been made.


FlyPelican is a regional airline and aircraft charter company based at Newcastle Airport, Williamtown, NSW on the east coast of Australia, operating a fleet of 19 seat British Aerospace Jetstream 32 aircraft. Currently operating regular scheduled passenger services between; Newcastle-Canberra,


Newcastle-Ballina (Byron Bay), Sydney-Mudgee, Sydney-Cobar, Sydney-Bathurst and Newcastle-Sydney, In addition to closed air charter services.

This cadetship provides a unique opportunity taking cadets from zero flight experience to the right-hand seat of a high-performance multi-crew airline environment undertaking multi-faceted roles with the only local Newcastle based Airline.”


Inbound Aviation’s management team are highly experienced in airlines operations and are accustomed to understanding the needs and expectations of regional operators. This joint venture brings airline experience back into the training environment, providing a leg up in the industry whilst remaining Local Committed Connected.


FlyPelican Airlines & Inbound Aviation will move forward with an anticipated first intake of cadets in late August 2023 and an upcoming information evening to be held in Newcastle.
